Every year, the San Jose Firefighter’s Burn Foundation sponsors a select number of Survivors, Burn Unit Staff and Firefighters to attend the Phoenix Society World Burn Congress. This conference is a huge pooling of survivors and nationwide resources to better the lives of survivors, and help survivors live better. Many survivors whom have been given the opportunity to attend World Burn, return and describe the opportunity as “Life Changing” and “One of the most moving experiences of my life”.
